Established in 1954 ,The Morriset Lake Macquarie District Agricultural Association was born.

The Young Woman Competition was introduced to the show in 1964, Anne Lee was the winner and now Mrs Anne Ferris is still today an active member of the Association.

There will be new and exciting shows and exhibits from the Kate Clancy horse show, fire lit whip cracking demonstrations, sheep shearing, new carnival rides, fly ball competition, dog high jumping, young farmers challenge, ride on lawn mower racing, Ute and car show and motor bike show.

The old favourites are back. On both days there will be live entertainment, the very popular kids' animal nursery, a large horse program, a poultry show, exhibits from art, crafts, cooking, horticulture and photography, displays from the police, SES, fire brigade, and marine rescue, trade stands, stalls, carnival and pony rides, food stalls and show bags.
